Why RaumLenker?

What is a "RaumLenker"?

The multi-link rear axle (Germ.: "Raumlenker-Achse"), developed by Daimler-Benz and first installed in the Mercedes-Benz W201 "baby" model, was a revolution in chassis development. Its key feature was that the wheels always remained perpendicular to the ground without affecting straight-line stability. Its use significantly improved road holding and driving safety, as it offered – as development engineers attested – precise steering.

The development of the multi-link axle was preceded by a solid planning and development process, which ultimately led to the optimal solution for the intended application and made it the benchmark in the automotive industry.

That's exactly how I understand my work:

According to your requirements I develop customized solutions for communication, PR, and social media, support their implementation, and keep them on track. To achieve this, I analyze your current situation together with you and help to create the tailored conditions necessary for a stable, straight path to success.

The multi-link rear axle is a development from the 1970s and, in a further developed form, is still in use today, demonstrating that sustainable innovations always have both a tradition and a future. In the automotive industry, this applies not only to technical solutions but also to clear communication of your topics, ensuring they are understood by your customers.

Those who use the right arguments in marketing and public relations are setting the course for the future. In order for the perception of your company's technology-open multi-pathway positioning to develop in the right direction as the basis for a stable earnings situation, new—but in any case unique—paths must be taken.

I would be happy to take these paths together with you.

...oh, one last thing:

What you see in the picture isn’t a “Raumlenker”-axle, but a driving school model of a car’s front axle that I bought at a flea market a few years ago. Nevertheless, the connection to “Space & Steering” is (at least in German language) clear, which is why this model served as the inspiration for my logo.

The motifs on this website are also “in space,” set on the surface of the moon in a nod to the Apollo 11 mission. The message behind this is that EU Commission President Ursula von der Leyen spoke of a “European man-on-the-moon” moment during the presentation of the “Green Deal.”

OK—so we’re on the moon now! ...so what´s next? We’ve been there before, and without a clear idea of what awaits us there, the arduous, expensive, and lengthy journey won’t get us anywhere for now.

So I asked myself: What awaits us on the moon after we land?

In my view, the answer is that this is something we as a society must shape on an individual basis, now that we’ve reached this point. Burying our heads in the (lunar) sand won’t get us anywhere, nor will new, promising technologies as stand-alone.

So let’s focus on the things we know, the things we’ve mastered, and the things that work. For me, as a car enthusiast, the clear message is to advocate for keeping the internal combustion engine as a freely available option, without losing sight of environmental and climate protection. I am therefore firmly convinced that while we may not be driving alternative fuels on the moon—we will be doing so here on Earth.

After all, it’s not the drivetrain that matters – but the fuel!
